Crafts Magic Tube This magical craft project is totally tubular! Follow this guide to add another trick to your repertoire! Magic Tube Ingredients2 sheets construction paper (8.5″ x 11″ works great. Make sure each sheet is the same color).Clear adhesive tapeScissorsRibbons (wrapping ribbons are fine) or a thin silk scarf InstructionsRoll one sheet of paper into a cylinder and tape it on the seam. Then roll the other sheet of paper into a cone shape, where the wide end is just slightly smaller than the opening of the cylinder. Tape that seam, too.Insert the cone into the tube and trim the edges on the wide end so that they are in line with the edge of the cylinder. Then tape the wide edges of the cone and cylinder together. When the audience looks at that end of the cylinder, it will actually seem like it’s one tube.BUT, what they won’t know is that on the other end, there is space between the narrow end of the cone and the cylinder where you will be able to hide ribbons (curled wrapping ribbons work nicely) or even a thin silk scarf. To perform the trick, show the closed end of the tube to your audience to assure them that the tube is empty. If you want to add a little drama, hold the tube up to your eye, like a telescope. Just make sure you never show your audience the end of the tube where you’ve stuffed the ribbons. Now, with great magician flair, slowly pull the ribbons out of the tube.Presto-O, Change-O! You are officially a magician. How-to Video
